The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has recently announced an increase in ticket prices for the upcoming tenth edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). The updated ticket rates are specifically for matches held at Dhaka's Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla Cricket Stadium.
The minimum ticket price for the eastern stand gallery at Mirpur is now set at 200 taka, remaining unchanged from the previous season. However, the grand stand ticket prices have witnessed a significant increase, reaching a maximum of 2500 taka compared to last year's 1500 taka. The VIP stand tickets are now priced at 1500 taka, up from the previous 1000 taka, while the club house tickets have been raised from 500 taka to 800 taka. Tickets for the north and south stands have also experienced a hike, now costing 400 taka, compared to the previous season's 300 taka. General gallery tickets remain at 200 taka.
The BPL, commencing on January 19 and concluding with the final on March 1, will be played across three venues—Dhaka, Chittagong, and Sylhet. The tournament will unfold in five phases, with a reserve day included for the eliminators, two qualifiers, and the final. Each day will feature two games during the league stage.
The schedule kicks off with matches from January 19 to January 23, followed by a move to Sylhet until February 3. After a three-day break, the action resumes in Dhaka on February 10, shifting to Chittagong from February 13 to February 20. The remaining matches will then be held in Dhaka from February 23, making a total of 46 matches in 43 days across Dhaka, Sylhet, and Chittagong.
