Last Wednesday morning in the city of Rosario, Argentina, a relative of Roccuzzo, identified as Augustina Scalia, was en route to deposit money in the bank. Scalia, accompanied by two colleagues, was walking from their family supermarket to the bank when two assailants emerged from a car and intercepted Scalia's vehicle. The perpetrators proceeded to break a window of the car and absconded with a substantial sum of money, estimated at 22,500 US dollars, equivalent to 24 lakh 83 thousand taka in Bangladeshi currency.
A colleague of Scalia recounted the incident to the press, stating, "We were in the process of depositing money from the supermarket to the bank when they broke our window and fled with bags. There was undoubtedly a car involved. I witnessed an individual disembark from the car. At that moment, I distinctly heard the sound of gunshots."
Expressing her thoughts on social media, Roccuzzo wrote, "We live in a time when many injustices happen on a daily basis. I am grateful to God that the incident could have been worse."
Diego Santamaria, the head of the radio command, provided details of the attack, stating, "The robbers opened fire when the car attempted to escape." The incident occurred as they were leaving the supermarket and heading to a nearby bank around 5 pm. A white-colored car approached them, broke the car window, and fled with bags containing a significant amount of money.
