In a press release, BCB said, 'It is confirmed that today's warm-up match between Bangladesh and USA at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas has been canceled due to inclement weather.'
This match between Bangladesh and USA was supposed to start at 9:30 pm Bangladesh time today at the Grand Prairie Cricket Complex in Dallas. The match was the first of two ICC-mandated warm-up matches ahead of the T20 World Cup.
However, a few days ago, Bangladesh played a three-match T20 series against the Americans. The team led by Nazmul Hossain Shanto faced an embarrassing defeat in the series by 2-1. The team will face India in their second and final warm-up match before the T20 World Cup on June 2.
Bangladesh will start their T20 World Cup campaign with a match against Sri Lanka on June 8.
