Bangladesh Considers Postponing Test Series Against Zimbabwe in 2024
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is contemplating a delay in the scheduled Test series against Zimbabwe, part of the 14 Tests planned for 2024. BCB has initiated discussions with the Zimbabwe Board, and although verbal agreement to postpone the Test series has been reached, nothing is confirmed yet.
Scheduled for April, the series includes two Tests and five T20Is. With the looming World Cup in June and a packed cricket calendar, the board is exploring options to either reduce the Tests or shift the series to another venue. Jalal Yunus, director of the cricket board, stated, "We are unofficially trying to make adjustments and exploring the possibility of a change. Official decisions will follow after discussions on potential modifications to the Test series against Zimbabwe."
