The first of the two-match Test series is scheduled to take place in Sylhet on November 28, providing cricket enthusiasts in Sylhet with the opportunity to watch the game for a mere 100 taka. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) confirmed the ticket prices through a press release on a Saturday afternoon.
The match is set to be played next Tuesday, and both teams have already arrived in Sylhet. After two consecutive days of practice, both teams are taking a day off today, resuming practice for the next two days leading up to the first test. Spectators in Sylhet can enjoy the match from the gallery by purchasing tickets starting from 100 taka.
Ticket sales will commence in Sylhet on Monday (November 27), and cricketers must buy tickets in person. The Rickabibazar counter, temporarily constructed in front of the main gate of Lakkatura and Sylhet District Stadium, adjacent to the main gate of the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium, will be the designated location for ticket sales. Tickets will be available on the day of the match and the day before the match from 9 am to 5:30 pm.
For spectators wishing to sit in the field and witness the game, a minimum of 100 taka is required, with a maximum cost of 1000 taka. The Sylhet test can be viewed from the West Gallery and Green Hill area for 100 taka, while the grandstand ticket price is set at 1000 taka. Additionally, tickets for the club house are priced at 300 taka, and the east gallery at 200 taka.
Led by Nazmul Hossain Shanto, Bangladesh will play a two-match Test series as part of the ICC Test Championship. The first test match is scheduled to begin on November 28 at 9:30 am at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium. The team will return to Dhaka on December 3, with official practice sessions on December 4 and 5. The second and final Test match will commence on December 6 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur.
