As Alis Al Islam was dropped, Anik was called up in his place in the T20 series team. Anik said, "Alhamdulillah, it feels good." Everyone dreams of going to the dressing room of the national team. It was his dream to play in the national team since his childhood. He always wanted to fulfill himself and come to the national team. Alhamdulillah the opportunity came due to good performance in BPL.
