All three Bangladeshi cricketers in contention are pacers, with Taskin Ahmed and Shariful Islam joining the ranks of Mustafizur Rahman, a seasoned IPL player. Despite initial inclusion in the preliminary list, Mahmudullah Riyad, Mehdi Hasan Miraj, and Hasan Mahmud did not make it to the final selection.
