Khulna Tigers found themselves struggling at 88 for 7 wickets by the end of the 16th over. However, an explosive batting performance in the last four overs, led by Pakistani all-rounders Fahim Ashraf and Mohammad Nawaz, propelled Khulna to a total of 155 runs. Nawaz remained unbeaten with a quickfire 38 off 23 balls, while Ashraf contributed 32 runs off just 13 balls before being run out on the final delivery of the innings.
In pursuit of 156 runs, Barisal faced an early setback as Ahmed Shehzad was stumped by Nahidul Islam. Despite a promising start, captain Tamim Iqbal failed to capitalize on his innings and was dismissed after scoring just 20 runs.
