Rifat Baig of BKSP scored a triple century in Sheikh Kamal U-18 national cricket competition. In the semi-final of the competition, the BKSP opener remained unbeaten with 320 runs off 29 fours and 4 sixes in 483 balls against Dhaka Metro at the Shahid AHM Kamaruzzaman Stadium in Rajshahi. Rifat became the first triple centurion in the age group cricket of the country. BCB game development department manager Abu Inam Mohammad Qaiser confirmed this information.

Rifat Baig of BKSP scored a triple century in Sheikh Kamal U-18 national cricket competition. Batting first, Dhaka Metro collected 143 runs in the second semi-final of the competition. BKSP captain Tafseer Arafat Taseeb took 4 wickets. Farhan Shahriar took 3 wickets.
In response, BKSP made a mountain of runs in their first innings. Their first innings stopped at 549 runs thanks to Rifat's triple century. Besides making this feat for the first time in age-based cricket, Rifat also carried the entire innings.
Rifat, who picked up a fifty on the first day, scored a double century on the second day. He started the game with 221 runs on the third day. BKSP's collection was then 401 runs for 6 wickets. From there, he gave the team a lead of 406 runs with his triple century.
Sylhet and Khulna division under-18 teams are fighting in Bogra in the other semi-final of the season.
