The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has unveiled the eagerly awaited schedule for the tenth season of the Bangladesh Premier League Cricket (BPL), set to commence with a thrilling clash between Comilla Victorians and Dhaka, marking the opening ceremony on January 19. Simultaneously, Sylhet Strikers will go head-to-head against Chittagong Challengers on the same day.
The inaugural match of this seven-team tournament is scheduled to commence at 1:30 PM, with the exception of Friday's match, which will start at 2 PM. Following this, the second match will kick off at 6:30 PM, except for Friday's fixture, which will commence at seven o'clock.
As the group stage progresses, four teams will secure a spot in the semi-finals based on their performance on the points table. The journey towards the final will then be determined through the eliminator and qualifier matches, set to take place on February 25. The grand finale of the BPL's tenth season is scheduled for March 1.
Similar to the preceding season, BPL 2024 will unfold across three venues. The tournament will commence in Dhaka, then move to Sylhet, where matches will be held from January 25 to February 3. Subsequently, the action returns to Dhaka before heading to Chittagong. The final phase will once again take place in Dhaka, concluding the Chittagong leg from February 13 to February 20.
