How is the World Cup team of Bangladesh going to be?

The selectors were supposed to announce the World Cup squad at a press conference on Monday afternoon. But Taskin's injury put a damper on their plans. He suffered rib pain while diving while fielding while practicing in the fourth T20I against Zimbabwe. There is a strong possibility that the World Cup team will be announced without Taskin on Tuesday. Although in the World Cup squad, Tassikon will not feature in the three matches against the United States. The right-arm pacer will need at least two weeks to fully recover from the injury.

The World Cup squad will not change much from the Zimbabwe series team. Shant is the captain. Liton Das, Tanjid Hasan Tamim and Soumya Sarkar are likely to be kept in the opening. The presence of Shakib, Tawheed Hriday, Mahmudullah, Zaker Ali Anik in the middle order is very certain.
