On a different note, Saif Hasan's Dhaka, which secured the title in the 2021-22 season, displayed outstanding performance on the field, clinching the title once again this season. With an impressive record of four wins and two draws, accumulating 39 points in six matches, Dhaka showcased exceptional cricketing prowess on the 22-yard pitch. Notably, they emerged victorious against Khulna Division, the reigning champions from the 2019-20 season. Rajshahi, a six-time champion, last secured the title in the 2018-19 season, making Dhaka the champions for the seventh time.
Despite Rangpur's relegation, Chittagong has managed to climb from tier two to tier one. Although Chittagong has not secured the title in a considerable amount of time, the team, led by Akram-Tamim-Nafees, is set to fiercely compete for the championship after earning promotion to Tier-1. Notably, despite winning the 1999-2001 season, Chittagong's achievement was not formally recognized. Now, with renewed vigor, they aim to make a mark in the upcoming competition.
