But luck did not help. This leg spinner got injured before joining the team. He was knocked out of this home series. He injured his finger while fielding against Sylhet Strikers on February 19 while playing in the BPL.
It will take at least two weeks to recover from that finger injury. So he is not playing in the T20 series against Sri Lanka. Cricbuzz, a cricket-based media outlet, confirmed this news by quoting a BCB source.
BCB sources said, 'Alice will need at least two more weeks to get fit. So he is not going to Sylhet with the team.
Moreover, the head coach of Comilla Victorians Mohammad Salahuddin told Cricbuzz, "He has an injury on his finger. It is very likely that he is not playing in the Sri Lanka series.
He was called up to the national team as a reward for his excellent performance in the recently concluded BPL. He took 9 wickets in 8 matches for Comilla before getting injured.
