After a long time, Bangladesh women's team is entering the field. Negara Sultana Jyoti's team will face Australia in the ODI series. Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced a 15-member squad ahead of the series.
Bangladesh will play the first bilateral series against Australia. Australia and Bangladesh women's cricket team will play three ODI and T20 matches each. The guest cricket team will step into Bangladesh on Sunday.
The hosts have announced a strong squad. The team is very strong in spin and pace attack. Besides, those who have been performing duties regularly in batting have been kept.
The first match of the series will be on March 21. Then the second and third ODIs will be held on March 24 and 27. The first T20 will start on March 31. The next two T20Is are on April 2 and 4 respectively. Australia team will leave Dhaka on April 5.
All matches are held at Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium. The ODI matches will start at 9.30 am. T20 at 12 noon.
Women's T20 World Cup is going to be held in Bangladesh next September-October. Australia is visiting Bangladesh before the World Cup to adapt to the conditions. Alyssa Healy will lead the team in both formats.
