Speaking at the press conference after the match, Shubhagat said, 'I will say that I am satisfied throughout the tournament. We may not have performed the way we played cricket (throughout the tournament) but in the playoffs. The way the boys played, performed with confidence, gave us momentum, I'm happy."
Chittagong started the tournament very well by defeating Sylhet Strikers. Three straight wins after losing the second match. After a loss against Comilla Victorians, came back to win against Barisal.
