Despite the earlier struggles of Imrul Kayes and Tawhid Hriday, who failed to create the expected impact, Comilla Victorians, with wickets in hand, couldn't amass a formidable total against Dhaka. In the first match of BPL Season 10, Comilla managed to score 143 runs for 6 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs at Mirpur Sher Bangla Stadium on Friday.
In the final over of the match, Khushdil, unable to score from the first ball, eventually hit a six off the next two deliveries. However, Shariful brilliantly took three consecutive wickets in the last three balls, securing a memorable hat-trick.
Shariful's impressive feat included dismissing Khushdil Shah with a catch by Taskin, followed by capturing Roston Chase caught by Mohammad Naeem, and concluding with Mahidul Islam's dismissal behind the stumps.
