ESPN Cricinfo, a renowned sports website, annually compiles the best eleven in various formats based on its own review. Nahida, a left-arm offspinner, features in the XI dedicated to the women's ODI format for the year 2023. It is noteworthy that, despite Australia dominating the men's Test XI and India representing in ODI and T20, no Bangladeshi cricketers secured a spot in the 2023 list.
Nahida's impressive performance in 2023 includes participating in 11 matches and securing 20 wickets with an average of 19.45 per match. Among bowlers in Cricinfo's ODI XI of the Year, only Australia's Ashley Gardner has claimed more wickets. Despite being an all-rounder, Gardner accumulated 21 wickets this year. Other notable bowlers in the XI include Nadine de Klerk from South Africa with 13 wickets and Leah Tahuhu from New Zealand with 15 wickets.

The team also features top performers such as Sri Lanka's Chamari Atapattu, Australia's Beth Mooney, New Zealand's Amelia Kerr, England's Nat Shiver-Brant, South Africa's Marijan Cupp, and Australian all-rounder Annabelle Sutherland.
