The International Cricket Council (ICC) has signed a two-year contract with TSM (Total Sports Marketing) to broadcast the international matches of Bangladesh. Through them, the matches will be shown on the digital platform of Nagarik TV and Banglalink. ICC has given this information in a statement.
TSM got the broadcasting rights of the ICC tournament in Bangladesh
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has signed a two-year contract with TSM (Total Sports Marketing) to broadcast the international matches of Bangladesh. Through them, the matches will be shown on the digital platform of Nagarik TV and Banglalink. ICC has given this information in a statement.
In a statement, ICC Chief Executive Geoff Allardyce said, 'We are very pleased to award the ICC Cricket Rights for the Bangladesh region to TSM. There is a huge and very passionate fan base. The ICC Women's T20 World Cup will be held in Bangladesh later this year. This will enable us to enhance the quality of the women's game there and further connect our broadcast partners with the fans.”
Mohammad Moinul Chowdhury, CEO of TSM said in a statement, “We are very excited to get the broadcast and digital rights of the ICC event. While many other international events are available, the broadcast rights of ICC events are the most valuable. There are many Passionate fan groups in Bangladesh. We are committed to providing them with unparalleled coverage and a great experience through our broadcast partner Nagrik TV and digital partner Banglalink.'
Women's T20 World Cup will be held in Bangladesh this year. The event will take place in September-October. Apart from this tournament, the contracted organization will also show the men's T20 World Cup, next year's women's U-19 World Cup, the men's Champions Trophy, the men's Test Championship final and the women's ODI World Cup.
