Bangladesh Premier League (BPL)
The much-anticipated Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) is set to commence on January 19, with the final scheduled for March 1. This premier tournament marks the beginning of Bangladeshi cricketers' engagements in the new year.
Bangladesh-Sri Lanka Series
Before the conclusion of BPL, the Sri Lankan cricket team is slated to visit Bangladesh for a comprehensive three-format series in February and March. The series includes 2 Tests, 3 ODIs, and 3 T20Is, promising a challenging contest between the two cricketing nations.
Bangladesh-Zimbabwe Series
April brings a series against Zimbabwe, featuring a 2-match Test series and a substantial 5-match T20 series in Bangladesh. Notably, there are no ODIs scheduled for this series, adding a unique dimension to the cricketing encounter.
T20 World Cup
In June, Bangladesh, having already secured a place based on ranking, will participate in the T20 World Cup held in the West Indies and the United States, offering the Tigers a significant opportunity to showcase their skills on the global stage.
Afghanistan-Bangladesh Series
Post the T20 World Cup, Bangladesh will engage in a full series against Afghanistan in July and August. This series includes 3 ODIs and T20Is each, along with a two-match Test series, possibly in the UAE.
Pakistan-Bangladesh Series
Following Afghanistan, Bangladesh faces Pakistan in August and September, featuring only a 2-match Test series on Pakistani soil, without any ODIs or T20Is.
India-Bangladesh Series
In September-October, Bangladesh will tour India, playing a two-match Test series and a 3-match ODI series. However, there are no T20 matches scheduled for this tour.
South Africa-Bangladesh Series
South Africa will visit Bangladesh in October-November, with the Tigers playing only a 2-match Test series in this home series, with no limited-overs matches.
West Indies-Bangladesh Series
In November-December, Bangladesh will tour the West Indies, engaging in 3 ODIs and T20Is each, along with a 2-match Test series.
Women's T20 Championship
The Women's T20 World Cup in September-October will be hosted in Dhaka, Sylhet, and Chittagong.
Under-19 World Cup
The Under-19 World Cup is scheduled to be held in South Africa on the 19th of this month.
