Tanveer Ahmed Titu, Head of the Media Department at BCB, disclosed that the dinner hosted by Nazmul Hasan Papon will take place at Hotel Sheraton in Banani.
Having secured the Youth Asia Cup title for the first time by defeating the United Arab Emirates last Sunday, the Bangladesh U-19 team arrived at Dhaka Shahjalal International Airport via Chittagong on Monday afternoon. From there, they proceeded to Mirpur Stadium, where they were greeted with a shower of flowers. The team then engaged in another photo session with the well-deserved trophy.
Contrasting with the disappointment of reaching the finals in the 2019 Youth Asia Cup, where they lost to India by 5 runs, this victory was the result of meticulous planning. Bangladesh navigated a challenging path to the title by defeating formidable teams such as Sri Lanka and India. In the final, they dominated the UAE, securing their first Youth Asia Cup with a convincing 195-run victory over the hosts.
