Shakib's Swift Return to Training for BPL Fitness Recovery
Bangladesh national team captain Shakib Al Hasan, recently elected as an MP from Magura-1, has swiftly returned to training at Bashundhara Sports Complex to prepare for the upcoming BPL season. Addressing the media after the practice, Shakib emphasized the urgency of his return, citing the need for preparation and his absence from fitness and skill work for almost two and a half months. Despite acknowledging that regaining full fitness will take time, Shakib expressed determination, stating, "I have started practicing; it will take some more time. The injury was on the finger, and it will take time to be normal in bowling, but it's improving." The cricket star, who last played for the national team on November 6, sustained a finger injury during the World Cup match against Sri Lanka, leading to a 4-6 week recovery period and his absence from the Test series against New Zealand.
